DJs
Fingaz.. "The Daddy"

Where to start? Fingaz is a LEGEND!
Contrary to popular belief he does not, and has never, worked for Fagin!
His name comes from the fact that he can scratch his way through just about anything and still keep smiling. A true Stanton Warrior!
Here to put music & friends before the money & fame, Fingaz on music is like white on rice....
A turntablist of epic proportions he has a vast collection of music sure to please even the most jaded of you.
Paul is the most approachable of all the DJs and has never been known to growl at anyone or bite the heads off anything.
Favourite expressions: "Yes That Man", "One Love", "Wharpem' Breadfoot" and of course "Mind Me Leg"
Likes: Sugar
Hates: Running out of the above
Expect: The best really.. can't put it plainer than that. Breaks like dirt!
Para

Our own "Gonzo" DJ
Closely modelling himself on the life and works of Hunter S Thompson, Para(noid) resembles a hoover in many respects, though around beer he is more akin to Plenty kitchen towels, absorbing far more than you would think possible without tearing or bursting.
He has been known to respond to the name Bogart at times too, though usually at this point he just growls at you and turns over...
Andy has varied musical background and tastes, from Gabba to Jazz.. no seriously.. really.. can't wait for the bastard child of that one..hmm Jabba?
Favourite expressions: "Oops sorry, I smoked all that!", "Got any brown dog to go on that?" (referring to HP Sauce), "You're some c*** from Preston!", "Prestonite!"
Likes: Refuses to answer this on the grounds that it may incriminate him
Hates: Not having access to anything incriminating
Expect: Fear and Loathing just about anywhere in his vicinity. Minimal House, Breaks, Dub or it could all go a little bit twisted..
Synapse takes full responsibility for him DJing as he taught him in the first place.. his comments are..
"What have done!?" & "Oh my God I have created a monster!"
Synapse
An enigma within a conundrum within a puzzle. White, dreadlocked, biker (Harley rider who refuses to have ANYTHING to do with chaps) and Dance music DJ. We reckon he should just make his mind up!
Synapse freely admits he has his own gravity field..
In many ways similar to a black hole, light just seems to get drawn in, even when he tries to play nice..Nu Skool Breaks are his chillout listening.. need we say more.
Ugly, mean and brutish are just some of the words used to describe his music.. and come to think of it him.. should come with a government health warning!
We do have it on good authority he has a soft side and has some Hardcore (some of it even Happy) stashed. There is also "some" acid techno which we suppose for him is probably "easy listening".
Denies ever having bitten the head off anything.. very suspicious!
Favourite expressions: "Who little me?", "Put the Mic down and step away from the mixing console!", "I am not a bloody jukebox now p*** off!", "Well it SEEMED like a good idea at the time..."
Likes: Not really sure if this can be applied to him.. but seems to respond to alcohol. Smokes WAY too much.
Hates: MCs, Anything quiet.
Expect: Very bad things indeed.. from breaks to D&B it ain't gonna be pretty!
That said, sometimes when the sun is shining, you may get to hear some of his other passion which is Dub flavours from the originals to breaks to D&B.
Facebook: "Eh? If I want people to find me I'll find them!" He now has a page.. ha!ha!ha!
Complex

The newest and youngest DJ here Complex can only be described as "keen".
Complex makes us all feel a bit old to be honest, but you have to let the "yout" have their day & despite his habit of getting carried away on the Mic we forgive him ;)
Likes: Microphones.. we are a bit sus on this one
Hates: Sitting down
Expect: Anything fast!
Dj Bruce B - AKA Buzz Lightweight

Music has always been a major part of mine and my families lives, which led me onto wanting to entertain people with the music I felt most passionate about. My first set of turntables were Soundlab DLP1's (belt driven) amazing pair of turntables that definitely made you work hard honing in the mixing skills .I started to produce my own mix tapes and started to hand them out to friends which led to my first major booking at a rave call Perfection and then countless club residencies after that. I produced and release my first record with “Dj Deano called “Payback is a Bitch” released in 1998 This lead me to work with the likes of DJ Bukem , Graham Gold , Kool World Records , Seven Wonders, Zed Bias ,Puture Trax & Fruit Tree Records
I am currently a resident DJ for “Ultra Vegas” “Liquid Sessions” www.fishyfm.co.uk www.raw1079.com

DJ Skuff
Making a come back after a looooong break Skuff has embraced the digital age and is building a large collection of dirty beatz and flavas. Often to be seen taking photos of the computer screen so he can nick tunes for later Skuff is also known as "Studio Slut" as he will drop anything in order to get a spin on the decks! Fueled mainly by Fosters... |
